michael-sherMichael has completed a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) at Monash University and brings extensive experience in sales, marketing, retailing, product development, consumer research, packaging and consumer communication. This was gained at leading organisations such as Kraft Foods, Nestle and General Mills.

Michael has also managed his own delicatessen and worked in the Independent Retail Supermarket Trade for a number of years. These experiences have provided Michael with strong capabilities in merchandising, distribution and general retail insights.

Michael has a strong and passionate understanding of biltong and related products, having originated in and spending his formative years growing up in South Africa. Biltong has always been an integral part of Michael’s life and he has harboured a long-term desire to establish and expand his own business in this specialist sector.
